AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 31, 2006 at his residence, Mr. Charles Lee Hatley, Sr., 75, of Lee Street. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from W. H. Mays Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Dr. Donald R. Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mr. Hatley was native of Knoxville, Tennessee. He was member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Jersey City, New Jersey. Mr. Hatley was a retiree of the United States Postal Service, Jersey City, New Jersey and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors are one daughter, Alexis Diane Graves, Cleveland, OH; two sons, Dr. Charles Lee (Cheryl) Hatley Jr. and Dr. Robyn (Lynn) Hatley, of Augusta, GA; one sister, Sharron H. Fitzgerald, Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren; two nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
