Richard Aballo, 79, of Newark passed away Friday, May 16, 2008. The funeral is on Monday at 9 a.m. from the Megaro Memorial Home, 503 Union Ave., Belleville, (megaromemorialhome.com). The Mass is at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark. Interment is in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Sunday May 18, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Richard is survived by his brothers, Ramon, Alfonso and Joseph; sisters, Angelina Murano and Geraldine Nardone; 41 nieces and nephews, 20 great-nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Celia; brothers, Andrew, Thomas and Ralph, and sister, Rose Fernandes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, N.J. 07076.
