Bruce Edward Dula, 64, of Buggie Road, Purlear died saturday, April 20,2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 3,1949 in Wilkes County to Conrad Franklin and Kate Lois Wolfe Dula. He was preceded in death by his father and one step-daughter, JoAnna Maria Davis. Survivors include: one daughter,Brandi Dula of Abingdon,VA;three sons,William Dula,Timothy Dula and wife Emily all of North Wilkesboro,Tommy Dula of Abingdon,VA; his mother Kate Dula of Ferguson;three sisters,Carolyn White and husband Oscar of Ferguson,Mary Ellen Severt,Janet Aguero both of North Wilkesboro;two brothers, Roger Dula and wife Nina of Ferguson,Michael Dula and wife Anita of Mtn. View; his fiance,Mary Taylor of Purlear;three step-daughters,Lisa Wyatt and husband Darrell of West Jefferson, Carol Shumate and husband Russell of Millers Creek, Tina Holt and husband Tommy of Thurmond;two step-sons,Felix Kyle and wife Willa of Morganton, Teddy Taylor and wife Melissa of Wilkesboro;two grandchildren;several step-grandchildren;one step-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be 2:00 o'clock Thursday at Davis Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Hadley Triplett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will recieve friends at Davis Memorial Baptist Church from 12:00 untill 1:45 on Thursday prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.Pallbearers will be Felix Kyle, Teddy Taylor, Russell Shumate, Darrell Wyatt, Shannon White, Brian Severt.
