He attended Eugene public schools and worked as a dryer and spreader operator for Lane Plywood.
Survivors include two daughters, Debra Arre of Veneta and Jennifer Arre of Eugene; three brothers, Wally of Colville, Wash., and Bill and Bob, both of Eugene; and two sisters, Alice Keister of Tualatin and Vonnie Brandt of Eugene.
