Mrs. Jordan J. Manifold. After a hovering illness, due to a complication of diseases, Mrs. Martha, wife of Jordan J. Manilold died on Friday. May 10th at the familv residence. Hopewell township. Tbe deceased was the daughter of H.Fulton Payne and was well known in the lower section of the county. where she had a large circle of friends. She is survived bv her husband J. Jordan Manifold and the followins children: Mabel. (Mrs. Charles Trout). Hopewell, Harry Manifold , Ralph. Alice(Ariel?). Florence. William. Sarah. George and Howard, at home. Also bv these brothers: J. H. Payne. Felton; Benjamin and Jacob Pavne. Stewartstown and a sister. Mrs. B. Manifold. Stewartstown. The funeral was held Monday noon. Services at Hopewell Presbyterian church Rev. C.H.E(text illegible) pastor, officiating.
