She started her career as a singer in the 1980s, and went on to act in over a dozen soap operas, including "Rosa Salvaje," "La Pícara Soñadora" (her biggest hit, with her co-star the late actor Eduardo Palomo) and most recently "Amor Real." She died of a heart attack during an attempted robbery.
