One son William Earl Carter, and one daughter Patti Sue (Carter) Kern issued from this marriage. Sally married second to Robert DeSylvia. One son Robert Jr. was killed with Sally in an accident when a car came upon the sidewalk in Orlando, Florida killing both Mother and infant son.
