Added gender. 1) Original bio from creator of memorial is below divider. ~ Edna Marie Sunday, 77, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw. She was born September 11, 1935 in Nowata, OK to Walter Edward and Mable (Philpott) Kimball. She attended Northeastern A&M College in Miami, receiving her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She later worked for Eastern State Hospital, until retirement.

Edna was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. She also enjoyed gardening, fishing, and riding horses. She had a love for animals of all kinds. She even hauled a goose around in her car once. Edna's greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; 2 sisters.

She is survived by 2 sons, Johnie Dewayne Waggoner of Vinita; and Randy Waggoner and his wife Cathy of South Coffeyville, OK; 1 daughter, Debbie Riley and her husband Morgan of Rural Welch; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Walter Kimball Jr. of Delaware, OK, and Raymond Kimball of Derby, KS; 1 sister, Dorothy Riley of South Coffeyville, OK; and a host of friends.

There will be a visitation for family and friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Sunshine Bible Church, West of Welch. Minister Brad Canham will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Rusty Riley, Seth Riley, Bocephus Waggoner, Gary Eckle, Brent Kimball, and Eddie Kimball.

Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Talala, OK.
