Was born to the union of William Delbert Bissell and Laura Boswell he lived in Bedford, OH all his life until joining the U.S. Marine Corps on January 10, 1952 after boot camp he was deployed to the Phillipines. On March 8, 1962 he married Patricia Ann Jones and they had 7 children Joann,Rex,Leo,Tim, Ron, Laurie and Brian. Delbert was a quiet kind of man, I seldom if ever heard him raise his voice,he always seemed happy, he had what I call a weird sense of humor, but he was so funny. It was always fun to visit him and Pat, you could tell by the way they talked to eachother how much they loved one another, although if you did not know them you would think just the opposite. Most people who lived where we did knew him a "Super Beetle", and even to this day that is what I call him. Rest Well "Super Beetle".
