Sharon Kay Erickson, 63, died Thursday, April 21, 2005 at Kavanagh Hospice House on Grand. Services were held Monday, April 25, 2005 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Sharon worked as a Teacher Associate for the Des Moines Public Schools. She loved all the staff and students at Ruby Van Meter School.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Richard; four children, Michael Erickson, Michelle Anthony, Lori Jordan and Doug Erickson; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Bain and Beverly Hiatt; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 26 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
