Ellettsville_ Ross A Hazel, 71, 302 Paul St. Ellettsville, died Saturday at Bloomington Hospital. Born April 25, 1912 in Bloomington. He was the son of Homer and Mary Jane (Allen) Hazel. He was a salesman for LB Price Company for 40 years and later worked at Hayes Market in Bloomington. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Bloomington and the Masonic Lodge in Frankfort.

Survivors include his wife Margaret (Dowling) Hazel; two daughters, Beverly Sanders of Frankfort and Marilyn Lenhart of Anderson; two brothers Paul Hazel of Bloomington and Russell Hazel of Anderson; four sisters, Mabel Eads and Dora Mae Lawson both of Bloomington, Mary F White of Washington and Ruth A Holt of St Louis Mo.; his father of Bloomington; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Services will be 2 pm Tuesday at Greene and Harrell Mortuary, with Dr. John Trefzger officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the mortuary 2-9 pm today. Masonic Memorial services will be held 7:30 pm at the mortuary. (No date when in what newspaper)
