Jean Curfman Cozad Jean Curfman Cozad, 91, of Topeka passed away at her home on March 26, 2013. She was born January 26, 1922 in Sabetha , Kansas, the daughter of the late Albert Curfman and Nell Glenn Ziehlke. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cozad; a baby daughter, Marsha; and her sister, Glenna Apitz. Jean graduated from Topeka High School in 1941. She had a flair for homemaking and sewing. She enjoyed working as a seamstress at the Menninger Foundation for 16 years. She felt the happiest while working in her yard or improving her home. Her yard was voted twice as Best in Topeka. Crystal Ballroom Dancing was her most enjoyable activity. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Jean is survived by her daughter, Connie Farmer and husband Butch; two grandsons, Chris and wife, YuBei and Josh Farmer; her sister, Avis Miller and husband Don of Las Vegas, NV. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 2701 SW East Circle Drive South, Suite 2, Topeka, KS 66606. Funeral service arrangements will be announced at a later date. A dinner for 17 guests at the Holiday Inn in Topeka last Saturday afternoon honored Mrs Jean Hall and Mr Clifford H Brown who were married earlier in the chapel of the First Methodist church in Topeka Mr A J Curfman of Topeka fattier of the bride was host of the occasion Mrs Paul Ziehlke of Kansas City Kansas is the mother of Mrs Brown The couple will reside at 1515 Tyler avenue in Topeka.
