PRATHER, Clint CWO2 (age 32) Passed away April 6, 2005 while serving his country in Afghanistan. He died when his copter crashed during an Army mission. Clint was born October 23, 1972 in Spokane, Washington and was a 1992 graduate of Cheney High School. Clint enlisted in the Army and was a combat medic. He later attended Warrant Officer School and became a Helicopter pilot. He was deployed to Afghanistan as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot at the time of this death. He is survived by his wife, Irene Prather; Son, Aaron Prather and Daughter, Cheyenne Prather, all of Augusta GA. Mother, Gloria Hackwith and her husband Dave. Father, Jeff Prather and his wife Valerie, all of Cheney, WA. Brother, Charles Prather of Cheney WA, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Geraldine Elizabeth Welch McCulley and grandfather Charles Benton Prather. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2005 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 460 N. 6th St. in Cheney. Burial with full military honors will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery. CHENEY FUNERAL CHAPEL, Cheney WA in charge of arrangements.
