Son of John Henry Britt (August 23, 1874 - January 8, 1952) and Dora Darling Stone Britt (June 6, 1876 - January 4, 1957)
Was a farmer all his life in the Back Swamp/Hilly Branch area. Was married to Marie Prevatte Britt (1904-1920) and Ruby Devone (Vonnie) Smith Britt (1899 - 1994).
Ruby Devone and William Clarence Britt had 3 children:
Billy, Frances and Myrtle and 6 Grandchildren..
