(The Southern Star) Mrs. Leona Aman, 75, died Wednesday, November 5, at her home Newville, Rt. 1, after a long illness. She was born an (sic) reared in Dale County and resided in the County her entire lifetime. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Thursday afternoon at New Hope Baptist church in the Bertha Community, of which she was a loyal member, with Rev. Max Todd and Rev. Paul Cutchen officiating. Interment in the church cemetery was directed by Headland Mortuary. She is survived by one son, Mr. J.R. (Broad) Aman, Newville, Rt. 2; one daughter, Mrs. Eula Aman Faust; one sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Mosley, Seattle, Washington; one brother, Mr. Dewey Truett, Seattle, Washington.
