(The Southern Star) Mr. Edmond Thomas Aman, 82, died at his home on Newville, Rt. 2, late Monday afternoon, February 24, after a short illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at New Hope Church with Rev. Paul Cutchen and Rev. Max Todd officiating. Burial in the Church Cemetery was directed by Headland Mortuary. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. E. T. Aman, Rt. 2, Newville; one son Mr. J.R. (Broad) Aman, and one daughter, Mrs. H.C. Faust, both of Newville, Rt. 2; three sisters, Mrs. T.C. Snell, Newville, Rt. 2; Mrs. J.T. Mims, Donaldsonville, Ga.; Mrs. Jim Grantham, Rt. 2, Newville; one brother, Mr. M.B. Aman, Skipperville, Rt. 1; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
