John Calvin Fleming, 73, of Limestone, died Tuesday morning, May 20, 2008, in the Golden Living Center in Clarion.
Born May 17, 1935, in Limestone Township, Clarion County, he was the son of the late Joseph Ray and Dorothy Fleming, and she survives in the Golden Living Center in Clarion.
Mr. Fleming was married June 12, 1959, to Velma Boozer, and she survives in Limestone.
He was retired from the Owens Illinois Glass Plant in Clarion with 21 years of service.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the Army.
Mr. Fleming was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters-in-law, Pauline Balance of Manteo, N.C., and Thelma Alcorn of McKean; and one brother-in-law, Donald Boozer and his wife, Carol Ann, of Ohio.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Mr. Fleming was preceded in death by one brother, William Ray Fleming.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion.
Military services will take place at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday with Rev. Harold O. Jacobson, pastor of Grace Luthern Church in Clarion, officiating.
Interment will follow at the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
