COTTONWOOD, Idaho, May 18, 1914 - B.P. Duffy, an attorney, died today, aged 75. He was born in County Louth, Ireland, April 17, 1839, coming to the United States with his parents in 1851. They located near Brimfield, Ill. Judge Duffy came to Lewiston in March, 1905, practicing law there for two years, later removing to Cottonwood. He was one of the oldest attorneys in north Idaho, having been admitted to the bar at Peoria, Ill. in 1877.

Judge Duffy is survived by his widow, Lois M.; six sons, James S. of Peoria, Ill.; Emmitt E. and Charles of Spokane; George W. of Pueblo, Colo.; Peter P. mayor of El Reno, Okla.; B.P. Duffy Jr. of Lewiston, and one daughter, Mrs. M.L. Wiggins of Kansas City, Kan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday under the auspices of the Knights of Columbus.
