She was educated in Lewiston schools. On July 4, 1955 she married the love of her life, Arthur Joseph Cote.
She was a dedicated beano player, who loved being around people. She was a caring and giving person to one and all. She was the love of her family and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband of Auburn; two sisters and one brother, Therese Cyr of Sabattus, Jackie Gosselin of Lewiston and Raymond Bougie of Lewiston; three sons and one daughter, Paul Cote of Lewiston, John Cote of Auburn, Danny Cote of Monmouth and Joanne Michaud of Auburn; eight grandchildren, Paul, Amy, Lena, Rebecca, Marie, Tasha, Jennifer and Mathew; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, Morris Bougie and one great-grandchild, Elizabeth LaPlante.
August 17, 2009, Francoise's great granddaughter Taylor Ann Cote McQueeney, daughter of Rebecca, parished in an apartment fire in Lewiston, Maine.
