The Guthrie Daily Leader. (Guthrie, Logan Co., Okla.), Friday, March 12, 1897 - It is expected that out of respect to the memory of the late Captain H.D. Baker, all officers of the national guard, whether belonging to the staff or line, will attend the funeral ceremonies Saturday afternoon in full uniform. J.C. Jamison, Adjt. Gen'l. -- All members of Co. A.O.N.G, are ordered to report at the armory at 2 o'clock Saturday in full uniform to attend the funeral of Capt. Baker. Members of Regimental band are also ordered to report at same place. == The funeral of the late Capt. H.D. Baker will take place Saturday afternoon from the residence of Mr.Henry E. Asp, and from there the remains will be escorted to Trinity church where the services will be held at 3:30 p.m., and from thence to the depot by detachment of the national guard headed by the First Regiment band, all in full uniform and equipped. The remains will be taken to Salina, Kan., where they will be interred.
