Obituary:

PLEASANT GARDEN – Mr. Larry Hilton Lamm, 71, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Moses Cone Medical Center. Larry was born on January 4, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Thomas Carl and Irma Radford Lamm. Larry was a retired teacher from Shelby and Ragsdale High Schools. He enjoyed working with antiques and also loved cooking and camping. Larry was an avid motorcyclist, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He attended Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Lucama, NC.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra "Sandy" Atkins Lamm, of the home; two sons, Gregory Scott Lamm of Lexington and Thomas Kevin Lamm of Conway, SC; one brother, Anthony Lamm (Kathey) of Manteo, NC and one sister, Angie Croom (E.G.) of Littleton, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, April 1, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
