Esta Henry Marker, 51, of 201 1/2 East Main street, died yesterday morning at Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He had been employed in the tool and died department of the Warner Gear Division for the past 25 years.

A resident of Muncie since 1915, Mr. Marker was born in Darke County, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion, the American Society of Tool Engineers, Chapter 70, Muncie Lodge 430 F. and A.M., Shrine and Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and of Muncie Lodge 33, Loyal Order of Moose.

Surviving are one son, Ralph Marker; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Louise Tuttle and Mrs. Gloramae Wilkenson; the mother, Mrs. Sarah Marker; three brothers, Charles L. Marker, M. Joyce Marker, and Benjamin E. Marker; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Galey and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Parson Mortuary at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. Lewis A. Maples. Entombment will be in the Elm Ridge Mausoleum. Friends may call at the mortuary after noon Thursday.
