HOYT C. MORGAN

Hoyt Clyde Morgan, 40, St. Clair Shores, Mich., died at 5 a.m., Monday in a Detroit Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Collier-Butler with the Rev. T. J. Milner officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Cherokee County with Collier-Butler directing.

Active pallbearers will be Billy Morgan, Troy Odom, Ralph Odom, Grady Pollard, Phillip Kimbrel and Fred Webb, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Hunter Morgan; one daughter, Mrs. John Whorton, Gadsden; one brother, Joe W. Morgan, Gadsden, and two sisters, Mrs. M. M. Beaird, Anniston; and Mrs. H. H. Kile, Gadsden.

Mr. Morgan was a native of Cherokee County and a resident of Gadsden most of his life. He had been living in Michigan for the past eight years. He was a member of James Memorial Baptist Church and employed by Chrysler Corp., as a welder.

The body is to arrive tomorrow morning and will remain at Collier-Butler through the hour of service.
