Lynn was a 1978 graduate of Winchester Community High School and she attended IU East, in the fine arts program. She worked at the Hill's Pet Nutrition in Richmond for 18 years. Lynn enjoyed genealogy, painting, and being outdoors. She also loved animals and always had a home for a stray.
Lynn is survived by her parents; her son, P.J. (Melody) Messina, IV, of Union City; a grandson, Peter "Joey" Messina, V; a granddaughter, Celena Nichole Messina; a step grandson, Corey Jonathan Hoover; two brothers, Timothy Lowell Blansett of Winter Haven, FL, and David Alan (Marcia) Blansett of LaPorte, IN; a nephew, Adam Blansett; and a step niece, Brean Freeze.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Walker Funeral Home, in Winchester, with Pastor Randy Yaryan officiating. Burial will follow at the Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester
