Ray Allen Carrier, 81, Salina, died Sunday, August 22, 2010. He was born June 15, 1928 to Elmer and Mildred Carrier, June 15, 1928. He was employed for SW Bell for 33 years. He was a member of Mason Lodge 60 and the First United Methodist Church. Ray was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Billy Dale Carrier. He is survived by his wife, Shirl Carrier; two sons; Randy Carrier and wife Margie of Salina; Scott Carrier, of Cheyenne, WY; daughter; Shawn Bartow of Aurora, Co.; step-daughter; Rita and husband Bob Macy of Abilene; 5 grandsons; 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina where the family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The funeral will be Friday, 10:30 AM, August 27, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church, 122 N 8th St, Salina. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park, 1920 E Crawford, Salina.
