Lloyd A. Baker, age 92, of Friendsville, TN went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 29th. Lloyd was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Betty Jean (Williams) Baker; brothers, Boyd (twin), Fred and Warner; sister, Addie (Jackson).

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Eva (Davis) Baker; his daughters, Paula (Richard) Tucker and Lynda Perkins; stepson, Bill (Angie) Davis. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Allen (Anna) Hunter, Rachel (Nick) Emrath, Elizabeth (Dustin) Mathe, Zachary Perkins, Sarah Richter; 8 great-grandchildren.

Lloyd was an Army Veteran and served in WWII and the Korean War. After his military career, he worked 20 years for Sears as a repair technician. He and Betty also ran a boat dock and restaurant on Unitia Road from 1976-1987. Lloyd loved to serve the Lord, and he did this by repairing appliances for the needy, growing vegetables for the hungry and building birdhouses to raise money for “his” missionaries.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 1 at Friendsville First Baptist Church and the funeral to follow. The interment will be immediately following at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friendsville First Baptist Church - Missions Fund.
