Mary Brennen was the daughter of Thomas Brennen, Sr. of Ireland and Elizabeth Casey of Scotland. She married Walter T. Adams, Sr. in 1899 in Hays (Pittsburgh), Pa. They had eight children and adopted two more. She was born in Scotland near Glasgow and immigrated to America in 1881 with her parents and sister Margaret. Mary and Walter took in Anna May Cochran and her brother William Cochran, Jr. in 1918, after their Mom, Mary's sister Elizabeth, died of the Spanish Flu.∼Wife of Walter T.
