Per his Philadelphia Death Certificate he was buried on January 24, 1863 in Glenwood Cemetery in Philadelphia. His body was later moved to the Philadelphia National Cemetery.Enlisted as private in Co. C, 17 Conn Infantry; died on 21 Jan 1863 of scarlatina (scarlet fever) at hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buried in Philadelphia National Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
