His body was later moved to the Philadelphia National Cemetery.∼Enlisted as private in Co. C, 17 Conn Infantry; died on 21 Jan 1863 of scarlatina (scarlet fever) at hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buried in Philadelphia National Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
