Jimmy passed away as a result of the BP Refinery explosion. He was born the son of Clyde and Lethea Hunnings. He was a resident of Baytown, Texas, a Quality Control Specialist for Fluor Global Services, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam War. He was a wonderful husband, father, and Pa Paw. He loved his family. He loved his grandchildren and he loved the work he did. He loved to make people happy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda Hunnings of Baytown, son & daughter-in-law Jeff & Rachel Teatro of Baytown, daughters & son-in-law, Amanda & Brandon Raybion of Bryan, Tx., Jennifer Hunnings of New Bern, NC., sisters, Frances Ringgold, Mary Ipock, Julia Flores, and Barbara Tripp all of New Bern, NC., brothers, Clyde "Knot" Hunnings of New Bern, Richard Hunnings of Deep Run, NC., and O'Brien Hunnings of New Bern, grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua, Dustin, and Hunter.
Pallbearers will be Tony Sessions, David Lineberry, Gus DeLucia, Gary DeLucia, Jeff Teatro, and Brandon Raybion.
