Eugene formerly of Whiteville, North Carolina, passed away in an explosion at the BP Amoco refinery in Texas City, Texas. Mr. White is survived by his wife of 33 years, Judy Pope White; mother, Gracie L. White of Whiteville; grandmother, Ollie Lee of Whiteville; daughter, Joanna White; sons, Joe Eddie White and his wife, Niki White, and Jeffery Eugene White and his wife, Angie White, all of Fuquay-Varina; sisters, Shirley Skipper of Whiteville and Janie Wiley of Connecticut; brother, Jerry White of Whiteville; grandchildren, Cody White, Jacob White, Jeffery White Jr., Jesse White; and a grandson, Dalton White who is due April 28, 2005.
