Conrad was the son of Theodore W. and Helena Konnermann Lindeken; and, he had thirteen known siblings: Gertrude; Johana Helena; Theodore Edward; Mary; Frank Joseph; Harry John; Margaret Anna Mary; Henry August; Clara Debra; George; Edward Albert; August Theodore; and, Fred Henry Lindeken (many thanks to contributor Heather Bowers for this information).

On June 30, 1915, Conrad married Marie Pfeifer at St. Andrew's Church in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.

Conrad and Marie had at least two known children: Eleanor T. Lindeken Ruzicka, born November 4, 1929, and Walter C. Lindeken, born April 7, 1928. Eleanor married Louis Anton Ruzicka, Jr., in 1958. On August 30, 1977, Walter married Sharon A. Spliethof in Reno, Nevada. On October 2, 1981, he married Sherrill K. Strampher.
