Kresovic, Dusan Age 68, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, March 10, 2013, at his residence with his family by his side. Dusan was born in Benkovac, Yugoslavia on May 14, 1944 to Petar Kresovic and Stevanija Ristic Kresovic. He came to the United States in 1967 to Milwaukee, WI, and met the love of his life Jovanka Glowinski whom he was married to for 45 years. He was a professional soccer player and he played with the Yugoslavian Soccer Federation for 5 years from 1960-1965 and then the United Serbian Soccer Club in Milwaukee, WI for 18 years from 1967-1985. He was nominated for the 1972 U.S. Olympic Team. He was inducted into the Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame in 2006. He moved to St. Petersburg, FL. in 1986 and then moved to Bell, FL in 2004. He is of Serbian Orthodox faith. He is preceded in death by a grandson, Petar Kresovic and a sister, Milka Aljiu. He is survived by his wife, Jovanka Kresovic of Bell, FL, a daughter, Stevanija (Charles) Hodge of Trenton, FL, a son, Vladimir (Leslie) Kresovic of Bell, FL, 2 sisters of Zadar, Croatia and 3 sisters and 2 brothers of Belgrade, Serbia, and 5 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel at Watson Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Bell Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Arrangements under the care of Watson Funeral Home, 426 W. Wade Street, Trenton, FL 32693 (352) 463-8888. Mr. Kresovic was born in Yugoslavia, in 1944. Before coming to Wisconsin, Dusan played for six years for teams in the Yugoslavian Soccer Federation's Premier League from 1960 to 1965. In Wisconsin Mr. Kresovic played in the Major Division, mostly with the United Serbians Soccer Club, for eighteen years beginning in 1967. Dusan was a leader for the United Serbians team throughout this period. His playing skills received national recognition with his selection to the 1972 USA Olympic Team roster. In addition to playing, Dusan has coached at the youth and adult levels, and served as a Metro referee.

Currently resides in Bell, Florida with his wife Jo Ann. Mr. Kresovic was born in Yugoslavia, now Croatia, in 1944. Before coming to Wisconsin, Dusan played for six years for teams in the Yugoslavian Soccer Federation's Premier League from 1960 to 1965. In Wisconsin Mr. Kresovic played in the Major Division, mostly with the United Serbian Soccer Club, for eighteen years beginning in 1967.
