Ryan Rene Rodriguez, 28, of Dayton was born April 13, 1976 in Houston, TX and passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2005 in Texas City.

He was a 1994 graduate of Hardin High School, where he played football and basketball and was a member of the 4-H Club and the F.F.A. Ryan was unselfish and always smiling. He was loved by everyone he met and respected by those he worked with.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Lee Hames officiating. Burial will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Sims, Eddie Houska, Matt Kutack, Brian Catchings, Alton Reescano, T. J. Brunson, Robert Evans, Scott Smith, Mike Baker, and Anthony Kelly.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Darlene and James Heickman of Madisonville; father and stepmother, Roger and Dorothy Rodriguez of Bastrop; fiancé, Erin Kutack of Dayton; his beloved and cherished, Zachary; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Wendi Rodriguez of Daisetta, stepsister, Meagan Heickman of Baytown; stepbrother, Tripp Jones of Bastrop; nephew, Ean Rodriguez; niece, Madison Rodriguez; grandparents, Wanda Pittman of Hardin and Rene and Grace Rodriguez of Atascosita; step grandparents, David Heickman of Houston and John and Bettie Coffer of Houston; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
