Minnie's parents were Isadore Jacobs (b. Sept 1847 in Ohio, d. Feb 10, 1906 in Cleveland) and Emily (Stull) Jacobs (b. Jan 1851 in Ohio).

Isadore and Emma Jacobs had a son, Lucas Jacobs, who was born on July 1, 1870, in Wyandott, Hardin County, Ohio.

The 1880 US Census found the family living in Port Clinton, Ottawa County, Ohio, where Isadore (34) was a laborer. At that time Emily (32) was mother to 5 children: Jessie B Jacobs (11), Lorance (sic - should be Laurence) Jacobs (9), Lillie Jacobs (8) (aka Lilley M. Jacobs, b. July 9, 1872), Minnie Jacobs (5) and John Jacobs (3). All were born in Ohio. Later that year they had another daughter, Dora Viola Jacobs, born Sept. 7, 1880 in Portage, Ottawa County, Ohio. Another daughter, Grace Jacobs, was born in Port Clinton, Ottawa County, Ohio on Aug. 8, 1884.

Minnie's older brother Laurence Jacobs (27) married Keziah Nichol (23) on Apr. 30, 1900 in Mahoning, Ohio. John Jacobs (23) married Mamie Wessels (20) on Aug. 15, 1901 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Grace Jacobs was married twice, first to William Broeckel, who she married on Oct 23, 1907 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, when they were both 23. 4 years later Grace Broeckel (26) married Blin Holmes (25) on Apr 27, 1911, also in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Minnie A. Jacobs married Luke Henry Winter on Sept. 19, 1895 in Cleveland, Ohio. Beatrice E. Winter was born May 13, 1896 in Cleveland, Ohio to Luke Winter (26) and his wife, Minnie A. (Jacobs) Winter (21). The couple also had a stillborn daughter, born Jan. 30, 1899. Minnie A. Winter died a year later, on Jan. 20, 1900, at 24 years of age.

The 1900 US Census found Luke, who often went by his middle name Henry, living in Cleveland with his parents. He was 30 and listed as widowed. In addition to his parents, his daughter Beatrice (4) and his 3 youngest sisters were also living there.

Beatrice E Winters (sic) (24) married Ray Chester Reynolds (24) (b. Feb 22, 1897 in St. Clair Co., Michigan; d. Sep 9, 1956), on June 16, 1921, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Ray's parents were Albert Edward Reynolds (b. March 22, 1874 Brown City, Michigan; d. April 3, 1952) and Alice J (Engler) Reynolds. Beatrice's parents were Henry Winters (sic) and Minerva Jacobs. Beatrice Reynolds (42), born in Cleveland, Ohio about 1897, who was married and lived on Northampton Rd., Cleveland Hts., Ohio, traveled on the ship Monarch of Bermuda from Hamilton, Bermuda to New York, New York, arriving on Jul 24, 1939.

Albert and Alice Reynolds were divorced on Mar 4, 1916. Albert Reynolds (43) married Belunia Lodd (39) on Oct 27, 1917 in Jackson County, Michigan. Alice Reynolds later married Claude (E) Grove (b. Nov. 9, 1870 in Langsburg, Michigan; d. Sept. 19, 1937 in Cincinnati, Ohio). Claude's parents were William Grove and Marietta Bacon (#42494802?).
