The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Saturday, March 16, 2013, from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. At other times the family will meet at Boyce's home. The funeral service will follow in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lelfer Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm. The burial will be in Norwood Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be conducted by Stanly County DAV, Chapter 12.
Born February 25, 1918 in Kanawha County, West Virginia, he is the son of the late Charles Lemuel Gragg and the late Adelaide Gragg Gragg. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ethel Thompson Gragg, an infant son, brothers; Lemuel Gragg and Cliff Gragg, and a sister Audrey Wellborn.
Mr. Gragg was a carpenter for A&H Millwork and also worked for Young Manufacturing in Norwood for 20 years. He was a member of Palestine United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
