Mr. Bohart was a self-employed contractor. He was a member and past master of Battle Ground Masonic Lodge 313, and a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis.
Surviving with his wife are three sons, Bob Bohart of Bradenton, FL, Chuck Bohart of Seminole, FL, and Les Bohart of Lafayette; two brothers, James W. Bohart and Floyd K. Bohart, both of Louisville, KY; two sisters, Thelma (Mrs. James) Snyder of New Albany and Ella Mae (Mrs. H.L.) McLeland of Jeffersonville; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant son; a daughter, Virginia Green; one brother and one sister. Service Oct. 7, Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, the Rev. Duncan MacNab officiating; internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
Charles and his wife Marion were mentors and adopted parents and grandparents by Don & Alvarena Mikels.
