Services: A private family graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Lorado Nettie Servatius, 84, of Pleasant Hill, died Friday, March 25, 2005, at her home.

She was born on April 20, 1920, in Paducah, Texas, to T.M. and Janie Fincher Anderson.

She was raised in Anton, Texas. She married Bob Servatius on July 12, 1941, in Vernon, Texas. After living and farming in Anton they moved to Pleasant Hill in 1953. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Demonstration Club. Family members said she loved quilting, arts and crafts and sewing. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and served as “hospitality lady” for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus.

She was preceded by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Eugene Servatius of Lubbock and Bill Servatius (and wife, Linda) of Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Pauline Slaughter (Jim) of Amarillo, Arlene Leddy (James) of Abilene, Texas; a sister, Lucille Hargrove of Anton, Texas; nine grandchildren, Sherry Ferrell (Gary) of Farmington, Gary Slaughter of Enid, Okla., Willie Servatius (Rosita) and Paul Servatius (Melissa), all of Lubbock, Leslie Flesey (Erick) of San Diego, Carol Arthofer (Travis) of Arvada Colo., Jerod Servatius of Westminister, Colo., and Josh Leddy and Jase Brown Leddy, both of Abilene, Texas; 13 great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Joyce Osborn and her daughters, Linda Peyton and Karen Osborn.

Cremation has taken place.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the ARC Tootsie Roll Drive c/o the Knights of Columbus, Albert Garcia, 137 East Yucca, Clovis, NM 88101.

The family will be at the Servatius farm northeast of Pleasant Hill.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
