He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County, Tennessee. He was employed by Quality Shine of Erwin. He attended Redeeming Grace Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Natasha Larissa Williams; maternal grandfather, Hubert Metcalf; maternal great-grandmother, Lizzie R. Rice; and special uncle, Ernest "Ern" Metcalf.
He was survived by his wife, Brandy McDaniel; his mother, Carolyn Metcalf Ledford and husband, Tim; one brother, Joel Hubert Chet Metcalf Ledford of Erwin, Tennessee; his maternal grandmother, Gladys Rice Metcalf of Flag Pond, Tennessee; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chris and Pam Shelley of Erwin, Tennessee; grandparents-in-law, John and Betty Bryant of Erwin, Tennessee; brother-in-law, Jared Shelley of Erwin, Tennessee; special aunt, Sandra "San" Metcalf of Flag Pond, Tennessee; four uncles, Gerald Metcalf and Johnny Metcalf of Flag Pond, Tennessee, Gary Metcalf of Greenville, Tennessee and William Metcalf of Hampshire, England; three cousins, Ashlee Metcalf and Brandon Metcalf of Greenville, Tennessee, and Lucas Metcalf of Johnson City, Tennessee; special friend, Tony Engle of Erwin, Tennessee; and several other friends.
