Hildreth Marie Baxley born in Howellsville Township nearby St. Pauls, Robeson County, North Carolina. She is sixth daughter of John E. Baxley and Isabelle Baysdon. She married him in around 1943. She is mother of five children. Four children grow adult but her son Andy Rogers died from drowning young child. She divorced her husband around in 1970. Her ex-husband went back to native home to Louisiana. She met long time boyfriend Carl. Both of them been together since Carl died in 2008. She remain live in Lumberton for short time and moved to Williamston, South Carolina to live with her eldest daughter Carolyn until her death. She buried in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont, NC next to her ex-husband. She has many of grandchildren and great-grandchildren that we missed her!
