Mrs. Childs worked in the purchasing department and accounts payable department at General Electric at Nela Park for 39 years.
Survivors are her children, Lorin A. (Marcia) Shepard Jr. and Henry (Mary) Shepard; grandchildren, Michael (Laura) and Christopher; and great-grandchildren, Daniel and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lorin A. Shepard Sr.; second husband, Phillip Childs; and brother, Alfred Gaser.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Acacia Park Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
