Lela Watts WEAVERVILLE - Lela Black Watts, 90, 416 Brokland Avenue, Hendersonville, formerly of Weaverville, died Friday in a Tryon nursing home. A native and resident of Buncombe County for a number of years, she had lived in Knoxville and Morristown, Tenn., for several years. She was a daughter of the late CP. and Mary Garrison Black and the wife of the late Lester Watts Sr. Surviving are three sons, Lester Watts Jr. of Raleigh, Billy B. Watts of Hendersonville, and John A. Watts of Kingston, Tenn.; three sisters, Edna and Edith Rogers of Weaverville, and Ida Hunter of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers, Caryl and Will Black of Weaverville; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Clark's Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Dickens will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clark's Chapel Methodist Church building fund. West Funeral Home, Weaverville, is in charge of arrangements.
