Douglas Hiram Lynn, Sr. - SAVANNAH - Douglas Hiram Lynn, Sr., 80, of Savannah, died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Graham, Georgia, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Lynn, his parents, Hiram and Nellie Lynn, and his sister, Marilyn Newsome. He was a graduate of Savannah High School, and was retired from American Cyanamid with 38 years of service, as an Electrician. He attended White Bluff United Methodist Church. He leaves a Legacy: A Man of Honor, Respect for his Fellow Man and Deep Dedication to his Family. Douglas endeared himself to many People at Work, in his Neighborhood and to his Family, especially to his nieces and nephews. He was always ready to lend a hand or an ear to others. He is survived by his wife, Anne Chapman Lynn, of Savannah, Ga; his son, Douglas Hiram Lynn, Jr., (Melissa Aston Lynn) of Vero Beach, Fla, and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Fairhaven Funeral Home - Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. John Haney, and Rev.
