Galivants Ferry….James Benny Andrew, age 69 husband of Dorothy Jean Andrew passed away February 28, 2013. Mr. Benny was born in Aynor, SC a son of the late Braxton McKinley and the late Mary Frances Willett Andrew. He was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church where was an active member in the Hope Sunday School Class and past president of the former Altman Class. He was a member of the Chicora Car Club of Conway where he was the current Chaplin for the club, a former member of the Aynor Lions Club and past president and former member of the Jaycees. Mr. Benny enjoyed spending time in his shop tinkering and restoring old cars, little league baseball, hunting, fishing, traveling and his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was predeceased by one loving granddaughter, Mary Kate Lovell and one brother, Ralph Andrew. Surviving Mr. Benny in addition to his wife of the home are his children, James Benjie Andrew and his wife Angela, Jill Andrew Lovell and her husband Wes, Brandon Tray Andrew and his wife Shanna all of Galivants Ferry, one brother Tommy Andrew of Galivants Ferry, five sisters, Katherine Speinhour of Greensboro, NC, Barbara Lambert Sell of Conway, Rachel Murrow of Aynor, Gayle Stoner of Florence, Peggy Rabon of Galivants Ferry, and six grandchildren, Andrew Lovell, Dylan Andrew, Carson Andrew, Coleman Andrew, Jillian Andrew, and Jenna Grace Andrew.
