José Manuel “El Carni” Pérez (1963-2005)

Professional Motorcycle Racer. He suffered one serious crash, between the cities of Zquerat and Tichit during the Dakar Rally. He was taken to Spain, but later died as a result of his injuries. He was participating in his fifth Dakar Rally. He was best known as El Carni.
