Bernard was born March 24,1950 at Pine Bluff, he was the son of the late Bernard L and Myrtle Laverne Adams Hinkle. He was a 1968 graduate of PBHS. Bernard worked in law enforcement for many years, including internal investigator for the Arkansas Department of Corrections for fifteen years and as a policeman for the PBPD for eight years.Survivors are his wife; Elizabeth Howe Hinkle, whom he married September 21,1985 at Pine Bluff.Two sons;Michael Hinkle and Terry Childers, both of Pine Bluff,one daughter; Tammy Frizzell of Pine Bluff. One brother; John Hinkle of Pine Bluff, and two grandchildren.
