Mr. Rose was born January 12, 1929 in Texarkana, Texas. He is a Marine, a member of the Masonic Border Lodge #672, and he retired as a Police Captain for the Texarkana Police Dept.He is preceded in death by one grandson, Matthew Rose.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Rose of Texarkana, Texas; one Son & Daughter-in-law, Mike & Joanne Rose of Hooks, Texas; two Daughters & Sons-in-law, Kathie & Ernie Rehkopf of Texarkana, Tx, and Lisa & Tony Tirrito of Texarkana, AR; six Grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Amanda Thompson, Jaclyn Rose, Jamie Bergt, Andy Rehkopf, and Roselyn Tirrito; ten Great-Grandchildren, Braden McDaniel, Colton Bergt, Jack Smith, Ema Rose, Baylie Bergt, Ruby Rehkopf, Kaylee Thompson, Macy Thompson, Steele Thompson, and Cutter Runyan.
Visitation will be Tuesday Feb. 26, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the Funeral Service at Texarkana Funeral Home (Texas blvd location) in Texarkana, TX.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday February 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Texarkana Funeral Home (Texas blvd location) in Texarkana, TX with Bro. Roy Ford officiating.. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Texarkana, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Madden Funeral Home.
