Mrs. Minnie Leone Kinney Pike (1906-1963), 57, of East Palatka died in a local nursing home at 2:15 p.m. Friday after a long illness. Mrs. Pike has been a resident of East Palatka since 1943, coming here from Detroit, Mich. She was a member of the East Palatka Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Everett T. Pike, East Palatka; two sons, William E., Fresno, Calif., and Robert G., Micanopy, Fla.; one brother George A. Kinney, Alpena, Mich.; one half brother, Charles Kinney, Olia, Mich.; several half-sisters and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today in Masters Memorial Chapel in Palatka with Rev. V. J. Major, pastor of East Palatka Baptist Church officiating.. Burial was in Palatka Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were C. O. Collins, James Methuen, C. C. Saunders, Miller Wall, L. R. Collins, and Herbert Fridy. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 30 Dec 1963.)
