Christopher was born in York, PA to the late Richard E. and Josephine Bruner Keesey. He was the widower of Kathleen M. Keesey. He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard and the Property Management Department of the City of Portsmouth.
Survivors include his daughter, Laura; son, Stephen (Alinda) and their daughter Sixten; his siblings, Richard (Laurie), Dorsey (Sherry), Wendy and Peter.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth by the Rev. Chris Hess. The family will receive friends following the funeral. Burial with U.S. Coast Guard Honors will take place at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
