Sharon A. Mauk, age 65, of Elkhart Lake went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Sheboygan on July 17, 1947 daughter of the late Roy and Linda (Meyer) Schoenenberger.
On March 2, 1974 she married William G. Mauk at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2011.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake.
Sharon was a very creative person and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially spending time with her six grandchildren.
She is survived by 3 children Billie Jo (Bradley) Jentsch, Jennifer (Alex) Bolek, John (Michelle) Mauk, 6 grandchildren Ashley and Anthony Klahn, Erika and Lisa Bolek, Collin Mauk, Tanner Quasius, two stepgrandchildren Beatrice and Joseph Jentsch and a brother Roland (Cheryl) Schoenenberger.
A private service for family and close friends was held on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Schneider Funeral Home in Plymouth with the Rev. Peter Peitsch officiating. Burial has taken place in the Liberty Cemetery in the Town of Rhine.
