Rena B. (Anderson) Lange, 83 of Mariner Health Care Center, formerly of 52 Country Club Boulevard, a longtime department-store buyer, died Saturday in The Medical Center of Central Massachusetts-Memorial after an illness.
Her husband, Alcide E. Lange , died in 1975. Her brother, Everett R. Anderson, died in 1989. He was married to Florence (Donaldson) Anderson, of Cherry Valley. She left her brother, Earl L. Anderson, of Worcester, married to Beverly (Creamer) Anderson. Her sister, Esther L., wife of William W. Gibbs of Saugus Calif. predeceased her; She also left several nephews and nieces. She was born in Leominster, daughter of Ralph E. and Dora B.(Crosby) Anderson, and lived many years in Worcester.
Mrs. Lange, was an assistant buyer for Denholm & McKay Co., a local department store, where she worked for 26 years. She retured in 1972. She was a member of Park Congregational Church and Clement Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on April 23rd in Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central St., Auburn. Burial was in Hope Cemetery. Calling hourse were 10 to 11 a.m. on the 23rd at the funeral home.
